Title: Silent Sports October 09
[$3 postpaid in the US. SOLD OUT.]
“Silent Sports” is the only magazine of “low-key” human-powered outdoor sport. It has a Midwest focus but its topics cover the seasonal range. It has a strong “thrifty activities for everyone” orientation, built around the Midwest’s many great regional resources, events, parks and trails. You might say it’s like an “Outside” magazine without the big-budget fantasy aspect. Or that it’s like a metro-outdoor tab with more hinterlands and less urban 10k’s — it’s like a “Windy City Sports” for those who don’t live in Chicago.
I get a few extra copies of each issue to help spread the word about this neighborly magazine.
