National Family Circus Tour
This summer we’re going to load up the family car with bikes, hook up the ole vintage trailer, pack it with alternative media goodies to sell, and thus the wife and kids and I will embark on a national independent culture tour. Yeee-haw!
Our route will be roughly from Michigan to LA to SF and back. So it’s mainly a Western Tour, but ya never know. We can detour.
We’ll be looking for nifty independent businesses, sights and events to stop at and say Hi and sell some stuff to, maybe set up a booth at.
We’ll have our car and trailer plastered with bumperstickers and signage indicating the nature of our mission, and our available booty, website, etc. : ) All very tastefully done. And did I say stylish?
Our main themes will be: “Support Your Local Culture,” “Support Your Local Downtown,” stuff like that. Along with the usual OYB themes of: modern folkways, bikes, small boats, xc skis, books, music, homemade stuff of every stripe, DIY.
I’ll be starting to plan our itinerary shortly.
