Breaking Away Need I say more. The best teen coming of age flick. Every actor in this movie is giving us art at 110% and the story works doubletime. Thanks, bike! (Oh, you red Masi, you.) We sure appreciated this flick when it came out and we were all just breaking away ourselves. Do they get any better?

a soundtrack! Play this at your next party. Great songs! What voices! “This is the tale of Mr. Morton”—-now, there’s a singer!
Willy Wonka That Gene Wilder…what a guy! His style and sidelong remarks fill this flick to overflowing. But Grampa is wonderful, too. Just a marvelous story. Superb ending.

natural and cultural details that just blow you away. Mindboggling creativity. Culture and creatures like you simply have never seen before. All so homey just the same. All ages.
The Big Blue “https://outyourbackdoor.com/videoshop/B00004TJK2.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg” BORDER=”0″ ALT=”cover” hspace=”3″ vspace=”3″ ALIGN=”BOTTOM” WIDTH=”76″ HEIGHT=”140″ NATURALSIZEFLAG=”3″> The best
buddy flick going. Yay, Jean Reno! He steals this flick totally, magnificently, as a very rare really big sulky guy who can act up a storm. His best role. ENZO! What are friends for, eh? Roseanna Arquette Alert! –NOTE that she’s in every neat flick. If she’s in a movie, you know it will stand out in some way. Same with Eric Roberts. They both kick butt. (Didn’t Roseanne name one of her kids Enzo? It’s Italian for Henry, our boy, which sat just fine with me.)
Sometimes a Great Notion “https://outyourbackdoor.com/videoshop/630018188X.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg” BORDER=”0″ ALT=”cover” hspace=”3″ vspace=”3″ ALIGN=”BOTTOM” WIDTH=”76″ HEIGHT=”140″ NATURALSIZEFLAG=”3″>Â A great, gritty look at family and work, hard work, with big breakfasts and packed lunches. Includes an actual really sad part. Much sadder because of its kind of acceptance as it happens. Also, a story of the hippy who comes back to see the blue collar relatives. Based on Ken Kesey’s novel. Newman, Fonda…both fine here.
Tom Sawyer/Real & Animated Both of these have just the best soundtracks. I hate today’s Nashville country music. But darn this cartoon just grows on ya. WAY too catchy. The “real” Disney flick has it all for kids. Good music, too.
Huckleberry Finn  What a great teen actor! Wonderful songs of freedom sure to inspire any teen. Right? Well, they did for me back in the day! : )
Robin Hood; Animated Great music and theme song. Rich 60’s-style southwestern Disney voices highlight this flick. Peter Ustinov gives a British twist. A richness of vocals and music we won’t see again in American animation. Or any other. The theme song will stick with ya.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Just wonderful. Great flying scene. Scary. Bombastic.
Kiki’s Delivery Service  More from this wonderful artist. Just worldclass animation and storytelling.
Rushmore
This is a great kid. Grab life by the tail and don’t let go, man. Bill Murray kicks butt. Great actors all around.
Mac
Want to start your own contracting business? What a wonderful slice’o’life flick. Turturro’s dad built houses. Homage, I suspect.
