Head up north to Nub’s Nob for their end of season spring bash, the “Telebration.”
It’s neat that it’s the XC heads who are closing out the year at the Midwest’s #1 rated resort. Hey, I didn’t know they were #1 til I visited their website. OK, it’s been a few years since they were mopping up #1 but it looks like they still get a lot of national ski mag splash. I was there a few weeks ago for the first time in ages and I really enjoyed the sunset view from the top, overlooking the Bay. How many ski areas overlook a Great Lakes Bay?
So, it’s Sunday, April 5, and there will be a bunch of ski companies there and tons of gear to demo. I bet you wouldn’t even have to bring any ski stuff! Their stuff is probably better than yours anyway. Just show up and demo! …And enjoy the sunshine on the patio.
The event cost is a lift ticket.
I’ll see if I can make it, and would likely bring my Ye Olde tele stuff. I’m guessing it’ll still work fine. (Or maybe I’ll save room in the car and just drive up with sleeping bag.)
It’s the last big ski event of the season in Michigan.

From the Forum chat above it looks like some folks might try to go surfing on Saturday then tele on Sunday!
