The westside of Michigan got a foot of snow.
In the middle we got nuttin’.
We had 2″, then it rained, froze, warmed to freezing…
A week ago, RadNord relayed this image from Yankee Springs, on the westside of the state. They had the good stuff there! The message was: “15 degrees @ Nordic sunrise. Shocking the Nordic Monkey to life w/ 4 plus hrs.” Yow! That’s the way to do it: drive in the dark to get it before it’s warm.
Later that night, alongside the same tire-tracks, in the same nasty slush…
