Freakin’ out over early spring Michigan scenes and trees near our house. No leaves. Lots of gray.
I have an idea of the Quintessential Michigan Scene: a quarter-mile vista,
a little swale with creek running thru it, a pond beyond…cattails, brown
grass, stubby cedars on the hillside, a couple clusters of silvery poplars…ringing
the whole scene: maples, oaks, pines, firs. What a mix! It looks great any
time of year. I haven’t seen it when I’ve had a camera around here, but
