I’m going to start putting up little videos (with audio) at my OYB sites.
I just realized that I can easily make small video files with my wife’s new digicam. A friend of mine is now taking more vids than pics and I see why. I mean, sure, take a pic, but then throw the switch and take a little vid.
I can then easily email or upload the files to my sites and you can just click on them to play them and hear them.
So now you won’t just see a pic of me and iBOB Steve F going on our Country Bike ride, but you’ll also be able to see and hear us tooling along a little section of our route, with the birdies singing in the background, frogs croaking.
I’ll take you on little ski jaunts, with a lunch break by a river.
Or out turkey hunting with my kids on an early spring morning (we’ll sit real quiet, maybe see a fox).
I’m finding I like the sound on these things as much as the vid. (When I look at old movies of my grandparents it’s the sound that’s most valuable to me.)
It’s the next step forward and it’s as easy as pie, just gotta reach out and take it.
