Beausage — the beauty of use.
Photos from around my garage and yard.
(Thanks, Grant, of Rivendell Bikes, for coining the term.)
3-speed saddle has worked great last 30 years.
Grant designed this bike.
These skis fly on soft snow
Works fine. This model is nicknamed the Arabesque by bike buffs. Or maybe the antler?
I compared this bike to several others and it rode better so I kept it and got rid of them. It’s a ’76 Nishiki Comp. It beat out a Paramount, hands down. It has light steering. But handles loads fine. I won a 3rd place on it in my first CX race!
Crane Riten bell. A chime not a ping. I use it to say Hi and to say “Time to roll!”
This 28-lb boat from 1982 has a dozen patches. I still use it hard a lot.
In 1990 my butt was hurting so I cut out the middle of this saddle. Fixed my problem. A few years later they started making saddles like that. I still use it
My 2nd pair of these shoes. They used to be good for both hiking and dress-up. I don’t know how I scuffed the toes. I learned that lesson from my first pair. I think I was working on a car in the gravel driveway. Maybe time for a 3rd pair. Keep these as backups?
I’ve had this boat for 25 years. Bought it used. It’s awesome. A low volume tandem with 3 seats. Good solo fishing boat. I’ve modified it a couple ways. It’s been varnished a few times. And wood spliced in here and there. Looks like it needs both again!
Works great. I’ve used it hard for 10 yrs. It was old when I got it. ’76 Nishiki Comp. (I’m guessing it was mint when I got it. Gulp…)
