Stylish cycling is where it’s at!
Racers these days have access to 10X better training/racing how-to info than was available even 15 years ago.
Speeds have risen.
But has the culture kept pace? Is there enuf team spirit and role models out there? Is there enuf derring-do in the events?
I’m out of the loop, but I’m hoping that side of things has kept pace as well.
It’s neat that riders don’t have to wander and flounder in a sea of guesswork anymore. But is there still plenty of dashing character and crusty oldtimers in the clubs to keep the INSPIRATION going at a high quality level?
Remember the early complaints against riders wearing sunglasses?
*You can’t see their eyes!* —-Sounds so quaint now, doesn’t it?
Do we even remember why that would be important? I hope so!
