It’s good. Sorry it’s not in color. Her colors are glorious. Outta this world, yet somehow natural. Dang, I gotta get me a color scanner. This is a crime. Sure, the critters are cute, but the color!
Perhaps you can be sure her stuff is good because it’s always been rejected by local galleries and university and student shows. Heck, Martha’s even had her stuff pulled off the walls from the one area place that hung her work…and it’s not even political or sexual. It’s good and that’s scary…can’t get any better censorship props than what she’s had. Full rejection.
…Except of course for the time she got into a statewide show juried by one of her hero artists, Roger Brown of Chicago.
…Also basically most of it’s sold or given away. But it keeps coming out of the basement, kitchen, livingroom, yard…
