The Long Lake Outdoor Center is a traditional CCC-built rustic resort located in the Yankee Springs Rec Area in Western Michigan. It rents on a scalable basis for about $6/head from 4 to 200 campers, summer and winter. Seems like a great secret getaway location, to me!
