Actually, ping pong is an outdoor sport after all.
Friends of ours, the bros who live at BroBrook, have been playing outdoor pong in their back yard almost every day for a year now.
They’re really good.
They hit the ball hard and jump back and hit it from low, near the ground. Totally dyno.
They put a tent-canopy over their arena during the winter. They have table-side easy chairs for spectating. A bonfire pit. Lights.
I like the pong myself. When I get in the groove it feels like I can hit it as hard as I can and that I can return anything. I don’t often play games so I enjoy returning everything—especially foul balls—when I have full-on pong mania it’s fun to simply return everything, the worse it was hit, the better.
For some reason I looked for some pong on YouTube—I was starting to appreciate the athletics of pong and wanted to see some footage of worldclass action. Well, I found several great, hilarious, amazing vids. Check em out… (They’re short. And each is more insane than the previous. Don’t worry.)
