Ah, now here’s something!
I’ve long championed the two-tracks and Seasonal Roads (Not Plowed) of Up North Michigan. Here’s a group that actually goes whole hog for what I only do in tiny little droplets of the rare free time that I gather enough of to wander north.
They have the Eco idea, too. No need to churn things up. I’ve only scratched the surface of their project but it looks like they know what they’re doing. Bravo!
Heck, I’ve posted here about how to DIY-fab the ultimate two-track adventure mobile. It would fit right in with their rigs. (Mine would be an old 4-cyl mini-pickup with kayak/tent rack on the back and sawed-away roof replaced by snap-grommet tarp. Oh yeah!)
I’m pretty sure I saw a Unimog (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unimog.) …Or maybe it was a Pinzgauer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinzgauer_High_Mobility_All-Terrain_Vehicle).
