I’d heard of this footage for years and now it’s on YouTube. Ye olde sailor Alan Villiers wrote at least one book about his early life working aboard tall ships, as one of the last sailors of the Age of Sail. He also made an old black’n’white educational/documentary movie about rounding the Cape Horn. It’s been shown a million times but never when I was watching. Fun to finally see it on YouTube!
