These are high-quality fleece-lined German military surplus mittens. They have good leather palms and thumbs. They are in great condition. They have a waterproof vapor barrier between the insulation and the shell.

I'd call them a medium-heavy-weight mitten -- good to zero degrees F if you're active, maybe 15F for sitting around.

These are size 4's and 5's in glove sizing. They're all marked "8", Medium, in military sizing, meaning they're 8" around the widest part of your palm. But they range from 8" to 9". So some of these are Larges, as a "9" is a Large. My hands measure 9" around and some of these fit fine, some are smaller.
