Here's a brand-new nylon ALICE military pack. It's technically a Medium but I call it Large. It's available in standard colors: tan, black, olive, green camo, desert camo. Lots of fittings for extra ALICE-type add-on's.

The main good thing, I think, is its all-rounder size and its *three* outside pockets. Three pockets are great for segregating your goodies in a super-handy way! (For instance: one for quick snacks and water bottle; one for field tools that might be dirty; one for dry hat, gloves, map compass.)

I dunno if this is a replica or real military issue and I don't care---I'll let the collectors sort it out. The ALICE "type" pack is famous all around.

Size is: 20" x 19" x 11".

Good size for a weekend. Or an ultralight week. A bit big for casual bookbag---unless you tend to bring along clothes, towel on outings, then it's jim-dandy.

A better bag for "grab'n'go" and day-use might be the *SMALL* canvas ALICE that I also now offer. It's 16"x10"x7" and has jiffy plastic pop-clips for easy access. Plus 3 pockets as well! I love 3-pockets!
