| A Friend's Project: Saving Michigan from Sprawl
March 21, 2006
Chris McCarus is a local DIY reality pal of ours. He and his cohorts have developed a way to use radio to help Michiganders rebuild their state and resist further sprawl. They're doing stories dedicated to helping Michigan become a more liveable place. It's a new project. It'll be like the Wendell Berry Radio Hour. Check it out.
Chris is the lad who's raising a family in downtown Lansing where they give the houses away. (Our capitol city is just sitting there, ready to be re-made.) He's the guy who feeds his kids on roadkill deer, often salvaged from in front of my brother's house, as per another OYB story. Good clean fun, the hands-on Michigan way! --Now coming at you thru your radio dial.
When you hear their Save Michigan radio stories, remember where you heard about it!
