This has to be just about the only magazine of authentic, informal, do-it-yourself, indie adventure and outdoor culture. It's also a catalog! -- Giving descriptions of all the books, mags, videos, music, and drygoods projects I'm selling. It's a combo thing, which is why I call it a "catazeen."
I've written most of the articles but there are several stand-outs by other writers. But I produced the whole thing. (Whups, not the cover design! Hats off to my designer friend Owen Neils for a gorgeous new cover concept!) It has to be about the only one-man-orchestrated show covering a general interest range of authentic culture topics.
This is my first full-color cover. And the biggest at 82 pages. (It's also biggest in scope.)
[Cover price was $3, but my last couple dozen went for $6 each (sold out in 2011.]
I have pretty good distro, so they should also be showing up on quite a few indy newstands nationwide.
