FYI: Michigan doesn't have a hope until Health breaks thru
July 19, 2012

I suppose it's obvious but there's not going to be a recovery for Michigan until we get enough common sense to realize that we as the people of the state must recover our own health all by ourselves. No amount of money can fix a buncha fat slobs. It's a broke thing. A no hoper. No way that it works. For anyone.

Thankfully with just a drop o' common sense we can start eating right and getting outside and sweatin' every single day until our health care costs turn around from their augering-in plummet and pop back to the surface and basically don't amount to much. Hardly anyone should be going to the doctor in this fair state. All the preventable stuff: we have to beat it or we're doomed.

Fit, lean, hearty and healthy: the only way to bust outta a tailspin. No excuses, neither! Feelin' blue and outta work or underemployed or listless or overworked or gettin' hurt all the time: straighten up! It's a war out there! ...We're competing with every other state and nation! And of course we need to be just plain sustainable our ownselves. Who cares what our population does as it sorts itself out to match the food shelter art needs of our people: as long as we each do our part we're a shoe-in. All that cost for healthcare? A solid year of everyone being healthy and half of it would come back to us. All signs would point up.

But if we keep chowin' down and sittin' on our butts we're goners.

We're unemployable in such a state! Who'd wanna hire such people? Does anyone really think the answer is to try to FORCE people to hire you despite your injuries, sick leave, and insurance costs?

It's not money that's going to be spent anyway! Don't use that policy no matter how good it is! There's a cost we CAN control, each of us! And the payoff is our very lives.
