The ULA never camped out in front of a city hall…because we were too poor to do so. We had jobs.

But we DID doggedly protest elitist 1%-ers in in the literary world — who were actively preventing relevant art for the 99%.

Underground Literary Alliance heroes like Karl “King” Wenclas stood out in the cold with placards wondering why folk writers never could get into the process of things like the National Book Awards. Tuxedoed fancy folk skulked past his posters to their $1000/plate dinners.

But our webmaster is a 99%-er and so can no longer afford the $15/month hosting fee at Yahoo and our noble website is thus no longer active. You can still see its archive, though! And see proof of our protests and exposes. They had a great effect while we were cookin’!

But we were anonymously attacked so often, and we even suffered from moles and counter-rev, that we imploded. We with our ZERO budget and our dozen members got media attention around the globe! …And we got the wrath of the powerful…and their lackeys and wannabes. Still, our novels are there. And many more like them are out there. Check ’em out. It’s writing that’s still alive. For the 99%.
