Waterproof Swiss Rucksack
July 24, 2010

$50 (inc. S/H)

[$50 shipped in the US. I JUST GOT FOUR OF THESE RARE ITEMS! And I've now sold two of them today. So...only two left! I don't know when I'll find more. They're in 75-85% condition.]

Here's a good, used waterproof Swiss Army vintage military rucksack. In very good condition -- broken-in but not worn much. You'll be impressed! They're pretty darn fresh.

Dang, they're sweet. I'd heard of them before but never stocked them as I didn't think rubber would be a NICE item to haul around. Well, this IS NICE! Dang, quality always comes out. So here's yet another Swiss FANCY LUGGAGE grade mil-sup item. It has horse-harness quality fittings.

There's a lot of thick leather on this item, too, including the base of the cargo area---but it's rubber on the inside.

It would make a GREAT wet-weather carry bag.

It's like a canoeing dry-bag only NICER and with rucksack fittings.

It has two inner string closures with flap over top. ...I think that'll work just fine to keep things dry.

DETAILS: 18" tall x 16" wide x 9" deep main pouch. Outside pocket: 8" tall x 10" wide x 3" deep. Weight: 6 lbs. Tensioned waistband. Steel band internal frame.

Remember: I sell these rare'n'nifty items to support the equally rare'n'nifty ARTICLES here at OYB, in lieu of subscriptions. Thanks.

NOTE! The bags I now have (as of 8/2010) do NOT have the little black straps on the sides. All mil-sup bags vary! Some of these have black leather, on some the leather is dyed green.
